Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite and BRMS primer: Capabilities, vision, and roadmap

Session Speakers
Session Description

Over the last few years, business process management (BPM) solutions have seen rapid adoption across the enterprise. Businesses are recognizing the value of BPM to improve the efficiency and agility of business operations, and thereby competitiveness and the bottom line. Earlier this year, Red Hat released the latest update to its BPM platform, Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite 6.3. A comprehensive platform for business automation, JBoss BPM Suite incorporates four key technologies–business process management, business rules, complex event processing, and business resource planning. Combined, these enable IT and business experts to automate and optimize a wide range of processes spanning desktop applications, legacy systems, and mobile devices. Join this session where we'll highlight the capabilities, vision, and roadmap for JBoss BPM Suite and Red Hat JBoss BRMS. We'll discuss and demonstrate key features of the new product, including:

  • New containerized BPM tools and services hosted on OpenShift by Red Hat
  • New intuitive user experience based on the PatternFly design model
  • Dynamic and ad hoc process development for case management scenarios
  • Graphical dashboards for business activity monitoring

You'll gain a solid understanding of the capabilities and direction of the product and will be ready to use the free developer subscription to evaluate it for your own needs. You'll also hear from one of our customers, Railinc, on how JBoss BRMS and JBoss BPM Suite are helping to track and automate thousands of business rules.
