Red Hat Summit and DevNation 2016

Building Red Hat JBoss EAP microservices on OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat

Session Speakers
Session Description

A microservice architecture breaks down monolithic applications into independently replaceable and upgradeable services that are decomposed based on business function and capability. This architecture increases system resilience by isolating each service and partially shielding other parts of the system from the failure and misbehavior of any given service. Independent deployment, replacement, and upgrade of services results in a vastly improved DevOps environment, with a more agile development process that can better respond to changing requirements and evolving technology. In this session, we'll describe how to design and deploy a supported and reliable microservice architecture on Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) on top of OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat. We'll describe a published reference architecture on the topic and dive deep into a proof of concept, showing this approach at work.
