Red Hat Summit and DevNation 2016

Integration is dead. Long live integration. How Apache Camel is changing how integration is done.

Session Speakers
Session Description

Enterprise integration is a complex, multi-faceted, and messy a discipline. But there are best practices that can make things easier. Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs) are a set of commonly used patterns to integrate applications and provide a standard vocabulary to design and collaborate on integration projects. Apache Camel is an open source integration framework that provides implementation of EIPs, connectivity to multiple applications and the necessary wiring to connect all pieces together. This is the defacto standard. Simply put, it’s how modern integration is done. In this session we’ll cover the basics on, and advantages of Apache Camel. You’ll also hear from real enterprises using Apache Camel and Red Hat JBoss Fuse to more easily integrate applications and huge volumes of data, and speed time to market. Panelists include Essa Mohammad, enterprise architect from GE Transportation, and Asif Sajjad, lead integration architect at DaVita Rx.
